Teak flip flap dining table

The wonderful flip flap or also known as lotus table from Dyrlund, Denmark c.1968. The table has been fully restored and has a lovely patina to the hardwood teak grain. The table has an ingenious design feature whereby there are four concealed extension flaps which pull out then flip over to form an outer circle…a great dinner party conversation piece as the hinges are in neatly engineered brass which creates an eye-catching detail. The eight 1960s Danish chairs are an ideal match in teak with excellent condition with their original Danish cord seats.
