An unusual 1960’s louvered yew wood and black painted bureau / desk.

An Unusual 1960’s yew wood and black painted bureau/ desk, we thought this might have been used in a church or school, there is a compartment at the back which paperwork or music/hymn sheets could be placed and removed by pulling forward the flap.

We also though it maybe linked to a church because yew wood is used a lot in churches. unfortunately no makers mark, however we know it has been hand built with lovely louvered drawers . Came with a coventry cathedral tag on the key but we can’t find any information if it may have come from there.

In good vintage condition. some marks on desk surface. ( please see photographs)
