A 1950’s Vanson sideboard in walnut by Peter Hayward

A striking cabinet in lovely figured walnut veneers onto a teak frame, this sideboard was designed by Peter Hayward in the early 1950s. It has three central drawers with brass trumpet handles, the top drawer having a cutlery divider drawer with green baize lining. There is a cupboard either side, one with shelf, the other set out as a drinks cupboard with a central cut out to take bottles and a ‘U’ shaped shelf for glasses. In good vintage condition with no major dents or scratches.
