A 1950’s Star sideboard by Peter Hayward for Vanson

An early 1950’s teak and rosewood sideboard designed by Peter Hayward for Vanson, this is designed using the process of cutting through the top layer of veneer to crate a pattern synonymous with Gordon Russels double helix sideboard. This has a typical design of the 1950’s, an atomic pattern or stars.

This is a lovely piece with brass handles, the top has been resurfaced with heat and water resistant lacquer.
