A 1950’s kneehole desk or dressing table by Claude Gibbs for Herbert Gibbs

This 1950s dressing table is by Claude Gibbs for Herbert Gibbs . It’s made from hardwood veneers and has lovely figured veneers on the drawer fronts and has fine gold outlines and trumpet handles. Lots of useful storage too with six equal sized drawers, a bottom shelf and an additional storage box in the top below the floating glass shelf which we have fitted with etched toughened glass. Could work in the bedroom or home office…or as a reception desk?
