A 1940’s safari chair by Kaare Klint
This chair is a famous piece in Danish furniture evolution as it was designed by pioneering designer Kaare Klint in the 1930s as one of the earliest pieces of demountable furniture. Ideal for expeditions and campaigns (or your sitting room), the chair is practical and comfortable. We have cleaned the wood frame and original canvas and replaced two of the leather straps. It has a a super look with the leather, wood and faded canvas…a design classic.
