1950s school desks by James Leonard

A trip down memory lane for those whose schooling took place in the 50s/60s and maybe 70s! The classic school desk in teak with aluminium frame and legs in a green hammered enamel paint.

Designed by James Leonard c.1948 for Esavian school suppliers and ‘Made in Britain’. We have cleaned them, removing chewing gum and a few expletives but otherwise in working but ‘as found’ condition and ready for some serious homework!
