An early 1950’s teak and rosewood sideboard designed by Peter Hayward for Vanson, this is designed using the process of cutting through the top layer of veneer to crate a pattern synonymous with Gordon Russels double helix sideboard. This has a typical design of the 1950’s, an atomic pattern or stars.
This is a lovely piece with brass handles, the top has been resurfaced with heat and water resistant lacquer.
