Making a Purchase
If an item interests you either click on the 'enquire' button next to it which will generate an email to us, or email rowena @ elephantandmonkey.co.uk, or you can call her on 01326 218881.
Payment can be made by phone using any of the leading credit or debit cards, except American Express.
Alternatively payment can be made by cheque, by post, or at the Elephant and Monkey shop in Falmouth - this will take a little longer as we can only release items once cheques have cleared.
A receipt will be supplied by post or with the purchased item.
Deliveries
Furniture is either at the shop or our storage facility. You can collect items yourself or by using a local van driver of your own. For delivery further afield we suggest using shiply.com where carriers bid for your delivery... it's cost effective and eco-friendly! The responsibility for arranging this and payment for it is yours.
Refund Policy
We realise that making purchases online is not easy when you haven't seen or examined the goods. We are happy to discuss items in more detail and, if required, will provide more detail on condition along with photographs.
Most items are 40-60 years old and have been in use and so a varying amount of marking, scuffing or indentation will be apparent. All items will have undergone basic cleaning and polishing, and where necessary an amount of refurbishment/restoration to make the items appealing without detracting from their period appeal.
We want you to be pleased with your purchase, but if you are unhappy with it we would like you to get in touch with us. We will provide a full refund of the purchase price (excluding all transportation costs) if the item falls short of your expectations, providing the item is returned to us in it's original condition, and within seven days of your receipt of it.
