Greaves and Thomas armchairs

A pair of stylish chairs c.1960 from leading furniture makers of the
period Greaves and Thomas. Newly re-upholstered, and covered in a
blue/grey slub-textured material, to meet fire regulations. The
armchairs are comfortable and substantial with high leather buttoned
backs and the impressively sculpted arms which have a typically 1950's
organic form. The arm/leg assemblies are pinned through with a large
gilt round-headed detail. Size of chairs in cm: 69w x 68d x 90h.
